Fall 2010 Trends Pt III: Accessories

As I’ve stated before, I truly feel accessories complete an entire outfit, which is why they are my favorite part of a wardrobe! Some people feel that there is a limit as to how many accessories you can wear at once, but I don’t necessarily feel that’s true. As long as you’re aware of what kind of accessories you want to include (jewelry, purse, hat, belt, shoes, etc) and the overall look you are going for, there shouldn’t really be a limit. It’s important to be careful, yes, but in my world, it’s always the more the merrier, not less is more! I’ve certainly tried to simplify my outfits, whether it be for the reason I just mentioned or to look more “professional”, but I always end up adding more and more. This upcoming season is no exception to this rule of mine – there are so many accessories you can incorporate into your wardrobe to pull together an extremely stylish outfit, whether you are going for something simple or off the wall. Let’s take a look at some of my favorites!

Booties:
Booties have been around for the past few years now, and I can’t say enough how much I love this style. It is so versatile (wearing them with dresses, shorts, suits, and jeans) and designers have created extremely unique styles to match a diverse wardrobe, including:
Fantasy-Inspired:
If I wanted to spam you with every item I found that was fantasy-inspired, you would be sitting here for over an hour browsing through all of the pictures. This has to be one of the styles I am looking forward to most, even though it is so extravagant (who am I kidding, I always go over the top anyway!). Dare yourself to try one of these  fun, bold, eye-catching pieces that will catch anyone’s attention from miles away.

Fur:
In my previous post, I showed you some key furry elements to include in your wardrobe. Here are a few more, including jewelry, shoes and unique bags!

So there you have it – this upcoming season’s must-have accessories! I’ll be posting some of my own styles once I have put together some outfits of my own (;
What are you looking forward to adding to your wardrobe most? Is there something you love looking at but just can’t get yourself to wear? Do any of these items just scream AS IF to you? Share your ideas, opinions, and any suggestions in the comments!
Until next time,
Danah (:
