Fashion Week is already off to a fantastic start… how I wish I could be there to see it all in person! I began posting my favorite collections yesterday here on the blog as well as my Tumblr. I’m continuing today and starting off with Marissa Webb. Don’t forget to share your thoughts!
I’l just start off by saying I want every single head-to-toe look in this collection… it’s simply to die for. Now in her third season, Marissa Webb is becoming known for putting together masculine and feminine elements in her collections, from silk ties atop dresses and blouses to structured, ladylike blazers. A washed-out jacket topped a ruffled frock, a silk button-down and tie accompanied a floral-print dress, and a sleek black blazer topped a lacy white camisole and miniskirt. I absolutely love the bright pops of colors combined with monochrome pieces. Can we also take a moment to drool over the strappy shoes?! I’d like every color, please! All in all, I’m very impressed with this collection and can’t wait to see more of Webb in the future.
