I’m really excited to share two gorgeous beauty picks that I received by Yves Saint Laurent beauty from Influenster. I posted a sneak preview on my Instagram a week or so ago and have been eager to write up a review! Read on to find out more about my YSL treats!

What is it?

The YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer is an illuminating and radiance boosting primer that blurs imperfections.

What exactly does it do?

The Blur Primer preps your skin for foundation application and creates a refined appearance, resulting in diminished pores a smoother skin texture, and more even skin tone. Touche Eclat Blur Primer is enriched with four nourishing oils to leave the skin feeling super soft and not the slightest bit greasy. The golden shimmer is added for even more luminosity!

Thoughts

With the product being non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types, including sensitives ones like mine, I was instantly excited to try it out. Upon initial application, it felt super light, smooth, and luxurious, and the results were immediate, providing a smooth, even texture and tone. I love the fact that it lights up my skin as well, providing that luminous glow that’s so highly sought after! A little goes a long way, so this will definitely be a long-lived staple in my beauty routine.

The YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector is just that – a perfector for your skin that helps retain a luminous glow.

What exactly does it do?

The Blur Perfector transforms from a smooth balm to a feathery-light powder upon application to immediately soften the skin’s imperfections. It creates a transparent, subtle, rosy-glow effect on the skin, while evening out the complexion. Whether it’s used alone as an allover perfector, to set makeup, or as a mattifying touch-up, it instantly minimizes the look of pores while retaining a gorgeous glow!

Thoughts

When I first saw the packaging, I immediately fell in love. It’s so glamorous! I wasn’t sure how my dry skin would look with a mattifying product, but I gave it a try anyways. Upon initial application to set my makeup, it definitely provided a matte look, so I would stray away from using it on my nose, as that’s where I tend to get dry. Using it on my cheeks and forehead provided much better results. I’ll be trying it on its own to see how that allover application looks and feels (and will update on my Twitter or Instagram).

All in all, I highly recommend both of the YSL Touche Eclat products for a smooth, even complexion. Again, it’s suitable for all skin types, so it doesn’t hurt to try, right?! If you’ve tried one/both of these before, I’d love to know your thoughts!
