Panache Offblast: to blast off with style

My name is Danah, the writer and stylist behind Panache Offblast. My interest in writing began at a young age with short stories, poems and proses, and my love for fashion has always remained a natural constant for me ever since my mama introduced me to the industry and everyday dress-up. In 2010, I created Panache Offblast as a creative outlet, combining these two interests in hopes of inspiring others through my words and style.

I chose the name Panache Offblast on a whim. In its earlier days, my blog mainly centered around various aspects of the fashion world — hence the word “Panache” — and “Offblast” is simply blastoff backwards. Panache Offblast = to blast off with style (learn more about the start of my blog’s journey here). I like play on words. Today on Panache Offblast, I share posts relating to fashion — my personal style, inspiration and what I’m lusting after; beauty — hair, makeup and skincare; and lifestyle — life reflections, art and home finds.

I’ve been referred to as a fashion chameleon, as my personal aesthetic varies depending on my mood and the occasion — I love finding inspiration in both the field and my surroundings. There is just so much to be marveled by in life. I find myself at my best and most creative when driven by happiness, the heart and mind and the ways I can incorporate positivity into my life. I hope to inspire you to continue to bring out the best version of yourself and find spark in the little things in life.

When I’m not working on my blog, I love to read, write creatively, bake and cook, play video games, be in nature, make things, travel and spend time with my cats.

Wherever you are in the world, I hope you’ll stay awhile. If you’d like to get in touch with me, please click here. I’d love to hear from you.
